I was given the wrong address for the coach company pick up, so you owe me around 80 usd plus the grab taxi to get their which was about 5 usd. Very unprofessional

We got pretty much abandonned at the Lao border and had to run through the city for an ATM and had to figure out the visa process on our own. One of the managers of the bus was also SMOKING the ENTIRE 24-hour drive. In a bus without windows, this is unacceptable. The bus itself was okay, but the drive was 6 hours longer than initially planned (two wheels had to be changed).

Our experience on this bus was very strange. We had a 23 hour bus journey from central Vietnam to Laos. We were put onto a bus where the beds were all exposed with no curtains. The bus driver was smoking the whole time so the bus stunk of smoke. We had about 20 bags of mangos dumped around us and there was a bird in a cage on the bus with a bird tweeting inside. The Aircon was blasting the entire time and it was freezing, I'm assuming this was to keep the mangos fresh but it was uncomfortably cold. We didn't stop anywhere really where we could comfortably eat, so in 24 hours I had a bag of dried mango. The communication when we got to the Laos border was very poor, no one explained or even attempted to explain where we needed to go for our passports and visas, or where to get back on the bus etc. We got dropped off at a petrol station was wasn't told where we had to walk to for border control- we just had to guess which meant it took twice as long as it should because no one was being helpful. This was also the first bus where we were not given any water. It was cheap so I suppose we can't complain too much but for what was such a long journey you'd hope they'd try to make it a bit more comfortable.
