The bus broke down about an hour into the journey so we had to wait 90 minutes for a replacement, however the driver was great - very professional and did his best to ease the delay for us and the company acted as fast as they could to get another bus to us. Knocking off one star for the inconvenience of the breakdown and delay, but otherwise full credit to the company and staff for their professionalism and how they handled it.

Driver came late and didn’t speak anything but Thai (fair enough, but when the minivan is packed with Europeans and he had a lot of information to give about drop off, rest stops etc, of course it was confusing. Pre empting this with a card with information on or previously giving us the information online would have helped), so there was a lot of guesswork and communication through Google translate. Luggage went on the roof and we got to Chiang Rai safely, so alls well that ends well.
