Never riding with this company again. They were 1hr late leaving, the boat was incredibly overcrowded, and the inside was incredibly hot due to lack of air circulation and overcrowding.

No one told us where to meet the shuttle bus at the Port in Sanur and drive us to McDonalds Sanur. There were NO signs, theer were NO people with signs or in uniform to assist us and we did NOT receive an email or notification with any information about where to go to board the bus. We had to get a taxi - not very comforting to arrive in a strange Port and not have any assistance

The sea was choppy and captain was running the ferry quite rough resulting into pitching and therefore, lots of passengers were vomitting.

I took the Axe Stone fast boat from Nusa Penida to Sanur. Compared to my last trip with El Rey, this one was way more "exciting" – but not in a good way. The boat was shaking a lot because of big waves, and water kept splashing inside because the crew didn’t close the doors properly. People sitting in the front got completely wet! Another thing – the life jackets weren’t easy to find. With El Rey, they were clearly visible above every seat, but here I had to look around to find them. Not the best for safety. The good thing? The boat left almost on time. El Rey was 40 minutes late last time, so Axe Stone was better in that way. But honestly, I’d rather wait a bit longer and feel safe than have a fast but bumpy ride.
