We chose the ride from koh tao to koh samui by Seatran with the ferry and the picture if the big ferry of Seatran, and we got a surprised that the operator was boonsiri instead and the "ferry" was a boonsiri Catamaran... also the ride stopped at koh phangan and it wasn't even mentioned in the order. We chose this especially because it's hard for us to feel the movement in the water so we wanted a big ferry and it became a nightmare because we got a catamaran that you feel every wave!

Everything great, when arrived we were lead to a taxi for transfer service. If you don't want to wait in line for ages for check in, be there more than 45 min before departure.

Overall, the ferry experience in Boonsiri was very good. The ferry itself was comfortable, clean, and well organized, and the journey was smooth and pleasant with beautiful views along the way. The onboard staff were professional and friendly, and the trip felt safe and well managed. However, the check-in experience was less positive — the clerks were not very patient, and the waiting time was much longer than expected. With some improvement in this area, the overall experience could be excellent. Despite this, it is a convenient and recommended way to travel between destinations in Thailand.
