Bangkok to Chiang Mai Destination Reviews

L
Comfy bus. Bottle of water, some cookies and food v for the lunch break provided. We arrived on time. No complaints.

I got at the station and was given a receipt that said 643 baht yet I had paid 1300 baht. We were rather forced into a different bus than the one booked. There was no meal along the way as promised, no water or snacks on board and blankets were given after 11 pm . This was a SCAM!!! Would give a 0 star if there was an option for that

Bus was great, much space for everybody. At a Stop it changed ITS parkingplace so that we got into stress finding it again. Everybody tried to help us and we got back to the bus. As always, condition was too cold... Arriving was before time.

I booked a Super VIP bus, but the experience did not feel like Super VIP at all. Communication on the bus was not possible in English, which made the journey confusing. I often felt unsure about the stops and connections for onward travel. The seats were also rather uncomfortable. Overall, I have experienced much better VIP bus services before and was disappointed this time.

Air con was on the whole time. You may think this a good thing but it was absolutely freezing. Also there was a loud beeping noise going on all night where the driver was sat. When I asked him about it he basically told me to do one. Not very professional. Didn’t sleep the whole 10 hours due to it. Also the driver crashed into a bollard at the beginning of the service. Very rash. They swapped driver halfway through and the second driver was much better and much more helpful.
