Bangkok to Chiang Mai Destination Reviews

Very frustrating service - incredibly rude staff member. Very bumpy journey, impossible to sleep. Bus stopped unnecessarily multiple times on the journey for no purpose other than the drivers - very disappointed overall

Didn't make any calls or contacts to late passenger for the last time and I missed the bus. Prior to that last travel, there was 30 minutes departure time from Bangkok and I didn't complain anything at that time. For the last time, there was also an woman who wasn't respect to passenger.

A sleeper bus would be more comfortable for this journey but otherwise okay and stopped half way through for 20 minutes which was good.

Bus seats were very comfortable and reclined enough to sleep. Gave us water and snacks which I didn’t eat but still nice. Smooth ride

This bus service was the best that I have used so far in Thailand. From the driver to the assistance inside the bus, the service was spectacular. The seats were comfortable, the bus was clean, the toilet was clean, the driver was cautious and drove with care of his cargo. I've taken this trip many times in the past year with other services where the drivers sped through the mountains, and at one point almost crashed. This driver made me feel safe and relaxed, and I truly appreciate that. He was on time and professional. One thing that would help is if the assistance spoke English when making announcements, and if they could use a speaker system. The lady spoke so softly and I have a hard time hearing. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I would use this service again.

The Food at the stop in the Night was terrible and there was thankfully a 7/11 next to the Food Station. The busdrivers were unfriendly but they drive is Safe to Chiang Mai. And the Bus was dripping water from the AC onto the seat. The yelling Lady at the stop was very annoying.

The bus departed a bit late but we still arrived on time! I booked a First class bus from Bangkok Mochit station to Chiang Mai. And then a gold class/normal class for the way back For both trips everything was smooth, they provided snacks like a sandwich, chips and water. They also were super attentive. The AC was on the whole trip so it didn't felt hot inside, and they provide blankets to everyone in case you're cold. Toilets had what needed and there was reclining seats with screens (which I didn't used but seemed to work fine). I was able to sleep for most part of the trip, as they turned off the lights and made it comfortable for the passengers. The staff at the desk were also very helpful and spoke well English. Differences betweent the normal and First class is: First class: -You get your individual seat without having to share row. -seats feel more premium as they have a tray table, but on both classes they recline, have screens, usb port, snacks and blankets. -Toilets are better on the first class as they are a bit bigger/cleaner. Basically the only big difference is the individual seat (without having to share row). But otherwise they're mostly the same. Would definitely recommend if you're thinking of traveling by bus through Thailand!
