The bus was on time and the bus driver and staff were so lovely. We sat on the bottom floor of the bus where it was spacious but the smell of stale piss was excruciatingly painful. It was so so disgusting. It smelt like pure ammonia and I nearly had a full freak out. The toilet on the bus is not needed just need to stop a couple more times. Not a single person used it for 11 hours but the smell was honestly the worst thing I’ve ever experienced in my life especially for 11 hours. Luckily the guy ended up putting a load of bleach down it which helped the smell for like an hour giving me enough time to force myself to sleep.

A pleasant surprise for a night journey! Sure, a night on a bus is still a night on a bus — a bit long and noisy — but the service truly matches the price. The staff are very helpful: you get a bottle of water, a snack, and a blanket as soon as you board. The seats are spacious and recline nicely, making it easier to rest. Special mention for the onboard toilets, which were clean and well maintained throughout the trip. In short: great value for money and a comfortable way to reach Chiang Mai without losing a day of travel!

It was all good. Nice bus and we leave on time. But i sit in the underdeck in front of a wall so that I couldn't make my legs straight. I had to keep it bent for 10 hours. That didn't work out so great. But at all i would use this bus again.

Of course it's always rather exhausting to find sleep during such a bustour but I had enough space, also to store my luggage, I was assigned the seat I booked in advance, the light was turned off in the night, overall a decent ride. The only thing that left me unsatisfied was the arrival time. And despite assuming I would arrive later than the ticket said, we in fact arrived at 5.30 am instead of 11.30 am. That might seem like a good thing but I was totally and absolutly not prepared for it, esoecially because I booked a hostel and naturally they didn't open before 9 am so I had to wait like 3 hours to drop my luggage off. Also I am super curious about how this could have happend...
