Bangkok to Chiang Mai Destination Reviews

EK
Very comfortable
Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Bus Super VIP Bus, Sritawong Tour, Nov 24, 2025
EC
The bus was ok and had lot of space for legs. The staff only spoke Thai. Basic food was provided but it wasn't really a meal. I chose this route because arrival time was at 7am but still we arrived in Chiang Mai more than an hour before the planned arrival time and it wasn't nice to be at the bus station around 5.30am

The bus ride went smoothly. Seats were comfortable and were able to recline. We slept throughout most of the ride. The bus made 1 stop throughout the entire ride. It was a nice touch to be given a bottle of water and snack box that consisted of a banana cake, biscuits and refreshing wet towel. I would only recommend bringing a sleep mask as the street lights can be too bright (which is not a bad thing for safety-wise).

Better than the plane! Comfortable seats, blanket, water, juice, pastry, chips Arrived earlier than we were suppose to The only negative point is the bumpy road that made the sleep complicated

They came for us a minute before departure but were really quick to get us out of there in the following 2 minutes. Very well organized so it was swift and easy to get on and leave. They provided blankets & snacks and it was comfortable overall. Not too cold and not too hot, I’d book again
