Mathilde GAll went good as far as the transportation is concerned. We arrived 1h30 late but that's alright given the length of the trip.
HOWEVER, in the night bus I saw a guy (who I suppose was one of the drivers or a member of the staff) crawling in the aisle in the middle of the night (the bus lights were off), and trying to steal from people's bags... Thankfully, nothing was stolen as I reacted when I saw him, but that is not acceptable... WATCH OUT!

Jack MVery easy, everyone along the way was helpful. Seats recline enough to get some sleep. They provide a pillow, blanket and some snacks, the bus stops at services to allow people to go to the toilet and get a quick bit of food. The boat is also just as easy. Taxi’s and Tuk Tuk’s are waiting the other side for a lift to your hotel.

Anubis DMissed the bus no way to contact 12go, I paid for nothing only to have to book with someone else local so 12go was a waste of my money and no customer support number to call I sent an email and no response also

Sigrun HAbsolute nightmare. I didn’t sleep for one minute, the usb charger in the bus was not working, the seat was broken and we missed the ferry, despite stopping and waiting for one hour at least two times on the trip. I would never do this again.

David VGood ride. Only thing to look out for is to go to the right location, which is not directly at Khao San Road, but 7 minutes walking away. Airco, food and a blanket were included!

Luke After reading the reviews I knew exactly what to expect, the language barrier/lack of communication sometimes isn't easy but as long as you have some common sense you'll be fine. It was overall a very good way of getting to koh samui from Bangkok, each seat on the bus was a recliner, had plenty of foot room and was comfortable the whole journey. They do stop halfway at a place the sells snacks and drinks but they are a little more expensive than in Bangkok, so just buy some at the shop before getting on the coach and you'll be fine. They can also offer bus rides to your hotel when you get off the ferry (they'll offer this near the end of the journey), which was 300 baht, taxi to my particular hotel would have been 550-700 baht. No complaints about the whole experience

Jonah GBus was pretty cramped and smelly wish the seats were more comfortable. They did a stop that seamed kinda like a scam where everyone was let off at a bus stop and they basically forced people to buy these expensive bus passes basically the same price as a taxi from the ferry to your hotel I recommend for the price to just get rental motercycle for the day and drive around. Also it won't let you motorbike taxi out of the Ferry terminal you gotta walk like 100meters to the 711 and they will pick you up there.
