Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station to Chiang Mai Destination Reviews

I didn't sleep so well. Maybe the regular noise of the train bumping on the rails junctions. Or maybe the fact that they kept full lights on all night.

The ticket says all the buses have toilets. But it did not have a toilet. No meal was given in a 12 hrs trip

I rode a double-decker bus. I was seated alone on the first floor, in VIP seating. A female employee sat in front of me, making the trip incredibly difficult. She made the food smelly and talked on the phone while I was there. She even took my blanket before I even arrived.

This was such an easy way to book our train trip. The only hard part was finding the booth to pick up tickets (which is inside the train terminal!) I loved that we were able to buy our tickets in advance. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely use 12go again!!

Easy to get tickets from 12Go, directions to Central terminal less so: it's a massive station and could have added bit more information on where to go. Train chairs are soft and comfy but regardless, 11 hrs is a long sit. No airco but fans which was sufficient for me. Train staff comes around once asking if you'd like some food which is handed out around 2 pm. No options to buy at the stations where train stops. I'd suggest bringing your own food and drink. Train was fully booked and I'd recommend rebooting using 12Go
