The ac was soooooo cold, I was freezing. Couldn't sleep of the cold. And we departed 1.5hr later. We just stood still om the track?!

You get what you pay for. Train very noisy due to open doors and windows, wind blowing in at you constantly so freezing cold (though we were sat at the front of the carriage so maybe this is why). Ended up with soot on our faces because of this. No lock on toilet door. Don't expect to sleep because you won't be able to (we wanted to book a sleeper seat but all sold out, so book in advance if you're happy to pay a little extra for a bed). People kept stacking boxes and other things down by our feet so not much leg room. However, train was on time and no confusion knowing if it was the right one or not. This is probably the only positive I can think of.

Well, second class sleeper with fan - I’d say, worth experiencing if you want to travel like Thai public. In the carriage we were do not expect phone charging options, nor silent. If you don’t sleep well on the shaky train, or loud train - you might struggle. Generally I’m glad we did it, but won’t be coming back. ;)

It is not very comfortable to sleep in those seats. I would not recommend it if you want to have a good night sleep or if you are traveling with children. The stuff was helpful and the train eas on time
