12Go Bus – Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City I had a very disappointing experience with 12Go on the journey from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City. We were told at the time of booking that this would be a sleeper bus, but that was completely inaccurate. Instead, we were put on a cramped mini bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, and the onward journey was also not a sleeper bus as advertised. The mini bus to Phnom Penh was overcrowded with people and packages being transported for the company. The space was extremely limited — my knees were pressed against the seat in front for five hours, making the journey very uncomfortable. The bus stopped almost every hour to pick up and drop off logistics that were completely unrelated to passengers. It felt like the company was prioritising extra cargo and profit over passenger comfort and travel time. Communication throughout the trip was extremely poor. The tuk tuk arranged to pick us up from the hotel was 20 minutes late. In Phnom Penh, we were dropped off at one location and then had to take another tuk tuk to a different pick-up point for the onward journey to Vietnam. This was confusing, stressful, and poorly organised. The final coach to Vietnam was not a sleeper bus, had no toilet, and did not match what was promised when booking. Overall, this journey was badly organised, uncomfortable, and misleadingly advertised. I would not recommend this company for long-distance bus travel, especially if you are expecting a sleeper bus or clear communication.

It’s was supposed to be a sleeper bus from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh but when we arrived to Phnom Penh we went to a regular bus. Anyways, the second bus was comfortable.

We booked a trip from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh. We thought the trip would be in a sleeper bus during 13 hours. Turns out the sleeper part was only for 4 hours. We switched in Phnom Penh to a seated bus. For the price we paid we could have booked a cheaper trip. Instead of a nice 13 hour sleeper we only got 4 hours of it.

All went really smoothly. However as we booked through the internet, we weren’t informed there would be a change of buses at 4.30am and we wouldn’t have a bed seat for the whole journey. The reclining chairs were still comfortable but we wouldn’t have known what was going on till we got there if we hadn’t gone into the office to check. We wish this was communicated through email or before booking better.

VERY BAD ORGANISATION Several times I thought I would get kidnapped. NO ONE answer you when you need it. NO ONE speaks English, or wants to help you. I paid 50 dollars (which is a lot) for this kinda service ??? Never again.
