Nice van, enough space for a 1.80cm man, Vans left every 30 minutes so if you came early or late you can wait for another one. The check in is at the Mo Chit Van terminal and you can find the tickets for only 70baht there. To come back you just walk to the same point after exploring Ayutthaya and you can buy tickets, the last van leaves at 5pm.

The travel was perfect, just come at least 20 minutes before because the vans are small and it might be full. They usually start every 30 minutes. For the price it's absolutely worthy

The pick up on Khao San road was easy, someone come to us before the minivan arrived. We didn't have to change until Ayutthaya and the drop off was perfect, directly in the main temple. Comfort was good.
