We were sitting on our bus after we arrived 20 minutes early. The bus was meant to depart at 9 and at 9.15 we were told we would have to move to a bigger more crowded bus. We were stuffed onto the back of the bus with all the luggage squashing us. Very little communication about the trip and problem. I would recommend booking through your hotel in Vientiane

This could have been at least 1 hour shorter. We waited a long time for other people at pickup and then again for the same people at the toilet break. At some point you have to leave people behind/not take them, I am sorry. What other sense does a pickup time make?
