We were left stranded at the immigration point. Immigration took a little longer than expected and when we finish whit them the bus was gone. There was no notice that they were leaving either.
We had to get another taxi to go to Udon Thani, it was super stressful all the situation! I can not understand how is possible a service which it is supposed to be a safe, secure, serious and professional make us pass through this horrible situation.

Excellent drive except for not being explained border requirements from Laos to Thailand.
Luggage throw on road at border when exited bus. Not explained that we had to take with us to be security checked. Disappointing from bus attendant as only westerners on bus trip.

Our very great taxi driver was there but didn’t show his sign!
Anyway everything went perfectly at both borders, the car was more than comfortable, our driver an excellent one.
So very happy with RG,but please show your sign !!!

I'd recommend it!
A van picked us up from our hotel, (arriving very punctually at 1:15pm sharp) and dropped us off at the Vientiane bus station.
We then took a clean bus from Vientiane to Udon Thani, crossed the border without difficulty (charged 20 baths or 10,000 LAK per person), and arrived a few minutes early in Udon Thani.
Serious agency!

Tuk tuk arrived on time at our hotel to take us to the bus station. From there it was one bus to Udon Thani with stops at the border crossings.
Fast and efficient. Would recommend.

I had a bad experiece using Soutchai Travel. I thought I was paying a premium to travel in a nice shuttle van (as pictured on their webpage), but instead it was just a tuk-tuk that took me to the Central Station, then a dirty, old bus.
But this bothered me less than the way time was managed. I was ready 30 minutes before the pick-up time as instructed. The tuk-tuk driver showed up about 40 minutes later. Fine, whatever. Then we drove across town to another hotel for another pick-up. The other passenger wasn't there. I sat there for another 25 minutes before the driver finally gave up and we went to the Central Station. He bought my ticket at the station, just as I could have; the station is only 10 minute walk from where I was staying. And I really wish I'd done just that. Leaving Vientiane later than expected - for no reason - made me stress about making my Udon Thani flight.
TL;DR - I paid a premium for Soutchai to waste my time and stress me out.
