Valentin HI booked a direct bus from Sapa to Ninh Binh, and we had a 1-hour connection in Hanoi, which wasn't really clear at the moment of the booking (they explained it on the confirmation though).
Drivers were rudes.
Bus wasn't super comfy either, air conditionning was broken (impossbile to turn it off, so it was super cold).

Thurgkai The seats were absolutely NOT clean (at the time we had to get off, we saw, that the stuff just folded back the blanket and put new water there, instead of actually cleaning the sleeping areas). We had a delay and there was still the rubbish from the previous passengers on my seat. This was our first experience with this organisation, before we traveled with hk Busline and it was FAR better and even for the same price!

Danielle Tthis experience was my worst so far in vietnam. the route was more expensive than other routes which i was fine with because of the time it left, however, there was a bus transfer that was not really mentioned or made clear in the listing. after we arrived at the first destination, we were rushed off the bus to a van which took us to a different bus stop. the driver then just left us. no one knew where to go, us or the people at this station, which wasn’t really even a station. just a group
of us in a dark parking lot wandering around trying to figure out where to go. luckily there was a group of us. i would’ve felt a little uncomfortable if i was alone. we finally found a dark bus that looked like it could be ours. one of the girls knocked on the bus window, and the driver, who was asleep in one of the beds, answered and it was the right one. then we left 30 minutes late. the bus drivers were all rude and aggressive, but that seems to be the norm in vietnam. giving two stars instead of one because we made it to the destination safely.

Chang SHK Buslines offers hotel pick-up services in Sa Pa if they are within a certain radius. You check in at the counter upon arrival at the office and will be issued with 2 stickers, one for the luggage and one for boarding. Bus number is shown on the ticket. The sleeper cabin feels smaller than G8, and looks dated. There was no massage function on the bed. There were 2 stops between Sapa and Ninh Binh. Each stop lasted 15 minutes, not enough time to eat a proper meal.

Katie LThe bus was 40 minutes early. Someone was asleep on my bunk when I got on, the staff kicked him out and had him sleep on the floor, and I had to use his blanket. The bunks were especially short and narrow, even for a VIP 32. We were all woken up by the staff around 4am as that’s when they start dropping people off, even though we didn’t reach Tam Coc until about 7am and they knew we weren’t getting off until then. There were enough stops that the last hour of road took three hours. But the driving was fine, no one was rude, the air-con worked, and between 11pm and 4am the bus was kept dark and cool enough to sleep. Pick up, drop off and journey length were all as advertised and the journey was fairly smooth with no dramas, at a very good price. Included in the ticket from Sapa to Ninh Binh is a night in a hostel, which wasn’t anywhere you’d particularly want to stay of course, but it was great to have somewhere to shower and nap when I arrived until I could check in at my actual accommodation (check the small print and contact the operator on WhatsApp for the hostel deal!). So overall it was fine, and I’d probably do it again.

Theresa OWe had booked a direct bus from Sa Pa to Tam Coc at 10:30 pm, which was initially confirmed. However, around 7 pm we received a message asking if we could instead take an earlier bus at 8 pm, with pick-up at 7:30 pm. Unfortunately, that didn’t fit into our plans for the evening. Shortly afterward, we received a new confirmation for a 11 pm bus with pick-up at 10:30 pm.
At 10:15 pm we were informed that our bus was overbooked and that we would now have to change buses in Hanoi at 4:30 am – instead of traveling directly to Tam Coc as originally booked, arriving around 8 am. After several phone calls, we were suddenly told that this direct connection didn’t even exist, which makes one wonder why it was offered in the first place.
When we arrived in Hanoi, there was no representative to help us, and the WhatsApp contact was suddenly no longer reachable. With about a 30-minute delay, we finally continued our journey to Tam Coc.
Overall, the organization should be improved – especially regarding reliability, communication, and adherence to confirmed bookings.

Tomas G20 min late, but its not a huge deal, huge deal were very very small beds and in the back, thee beds are 5 next to each other. That made me sleep right next to a rather large man, who was
1) snoring
2) shifting and moving, which sometimes resulted in him accidently touching me do to very small beds right next to each other
3) smelling really bad, which made it very hard to sleep and uncomfortable
