Seats and cabins are nice. The road was very bumpy and that could be felt 10x worse inside the bus. First driver was quite in a hurry and that made us feel like we were in a washing machine.

There was no instructions on how the transfer worked for the two companies for the entire distance. When arriving in Hanoi to transfer over to TBUS, no idea on how it worked, walked to their main office as shown on Google and it had closed down. Found a new address on their Facebook account and managed get to the office, where we had to wait and hour for the taxi (not limo). On the way to Ha Long, seemed the driver picked up a friend and one of us were forced to ride in an uncomfortable middle seat for 2.2 hours from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay.

Good! I didn't know there was going to be 2 different buses. One was a sleeper bus and one wasn't. The sleeper bus was more comfortable.i

The seat wasn't comfortable, I couldn't adjust the seat because the control didn't work. I could also feel the bumps.

A safe driver, who kept his horn to a minimum. He was also friendly and helped everyone. The Sleeping bed was uncomfortable due to massage lumps and bumps. Overall a good experience, even if sleep was hard to come by.

Relatively comfortable journey (think the bus was slightly older than a previous HK bus we took, and not as comfortable). Otherwise very decent. For some reason we were dropped off before our destination and had to get a grab (there were lots of taxis already waiting in the area which made me suspect it was intentional)

Everything was fine, but they insisted on keeping the aircon on on the bus (I think to demistify the front window) which was somehow connected to the whole bus. So nothing VIP about being freezing - it was maybe 5 degrees in Sapa so it was too cold to sleep most of the bus. the staff were generally very nice though and even offered us fruit as we waited for the ferry
