The bus itself was comfortable, but it was very cold (outside was 5 degrees when we left), and sometimes the driver had the window open, so we were freezing for 6 hours. Also the driver was making many stops, continuously picking up and dropping locals or packages.

We were transferred onto a smaller bus in ha Giang to be taken to our hotel then thrown off the bus by a very angry driver 10 mins drive from hotel

Cheap transfer and I think there are not many options, but I was the only passenger and I couldn’t sleep because the driver went incredibly fast on the curved mountain roads with a lot of bumps. So don’t expect too much rest if you take the night bus.

Driver made many personal errand stops. Drove very erratically making me feels really sick. The stop over for bathroom break had a pig kept in horrible conditions, in a tiny cage it couldn’t even turn around in.

The bus was started 45 Min earlier than what we were agree. We were asked to be at the pickup point One ore before otherwise we would have Lost the bus. We kindly asked a help because we misunderstood the pickup point and we than took an expensive taxi to reach the pickup point. But then the bus passed exatcly were we were before taking the taxi. The comunication was not goot and we Lost 1 hour and 20€. No problem, at the end we took the bus. The diving style Is very Dangerous. Overall ok but not more than this.

First of all, the bus arrived late — we know this is Vietnam and we hadn’t taken that into account. However, the main problems started once we were on board. There were far more passengers than the bus could safely carry (many Vietnamese passengers were sleeping in the corridor), which made it extremely difficult to get in and out of the bus. Secondly, the bus stopped constantly to load food boxes, and this happened throughout the entire trip. It was a night bus, yet it was absolutely impossible to sleep because they were making noise the whole time — talking loudly, banging things, and phones constantly ringing. Our bus arrived 1.5 hours late, and then they tried to drop us off very far from the location where the bus was supposed to stop. They gave no explanation and forced us to get off the bus. At that point, we complained strongly, and only then did they agree to take and pay a taxi for us to the correct drop-off point. Meanwhile, the bus driver spent the whole time laughing at us and insisting that there was “no noise,” which was extremely unprofessional.

Clean bus. Punctual and arrived at the destination on time. Supportive and funny conductor. I left my jacket on the bus and they kindly deposited it at their city office for me to collect it! Valuable in the jacket pocket was untouched!!
