Linghong SDriver drove well but had some phone calls and a device was beeping through out the night.
The ship seats were not very comfortable. Not much room for patrons to rest their heads and arms after a long night on the bus. I definitely threw up as well.

Mohd ABus journey was wonderful. Everything was on time and comfortable buses.
But reached Surat thani pier by 5am and had to change ships 3 times to reach Koh Samui and reached by 1pm.
They have not mentioned that we will be travelling to koh tao and koh phangan first and had to wait and change ferries.
Also AC was not ON from koh Phangan to Ko samui which was exhausted journey.

Tim PReview: Khao San Road to Koh Samui via Bangrak Pier & Lomprayah Ferry
Rating: 1/5 stars
The Route: Khao San Road → Bangrak Pier (Bangkok) → Koh Tao → Koh Phangan → Koh Samui (15 hours)
The Journey
This was meant to be a straightforward overnight transfer to Koh Samui. It turned out to be a genuine test of endurance that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
The Bus: Khao San to Bangrak Pier
The initial bus journey was marred by a faulty sensor alarm that blared continuously throughout the trip—no resolution, no acknowledgment from staff, just relentless beeping.
The atmosphere on board was chaotic. Passengers were singing and chatting at volume, including one woman who decided 2am was an ideal time to play the xylophone. Yes, actually a xylophone. Other passengers politely asked her to stop, but the lack of any staff presence or intervention made it feel lawless. It was impossible to sleep, and the cabin felt out of control.
The Ferry: Bangrak to Koh Samui
The overnight ferry was no better. The sea was rough—genuinely rough—and a significant number of passengers were seasick throughout. The boat changes (Koh Tao → Koh Phangan → Koh Samui) added another layer of exhaustion to an already grueling experience.
By the time we arrived on Koh Samui, 15 hours later, it felt less like a journey and more like a survival exercise.
The Verdict
If you're considering this route, be aware: comfort is not part of the package. The lack of staff oversight, the faulty equipment, and the chaotic passenger environment made this an ordeal rather than a convenient transfer.
Better options? Fly to Koh Samui if at all possible. The extra cost is worth every baht for your mental health and sleep. If you must take this route, bring ear plugs (in case of alarm malfunctions), travel sickness medication, and rock-solid patience.
Not recommended unless you have no other choice.

Daniele CThe charging ports were not working in the bus, we made two stops one in a restaurant that what quite expensive for what they served and you had to pay for toilets or plugs, not a normal service station and another one in a travel agency where they were trick people saying they had to do the check in for the ferry while they were trying to sell overpriced services, do not buy or thrust, at the port you can easily find shared taxies for 200 or less and private car for 400

Iris RThe Bus startet on time, was comfortable and cool and we slept easily. It stopped Vater 5 hours at midnight, airconditions off and lights on, everybody was sleeping suddenly the driver shouted at us to wake up and get of the bus to eat or drink something in the middle of nowhere, a real shock! After this stopp we could sleep again, just the roads were crunch and the Bus stopped again and again. To Ko Samui we needed to go 1 hour by bus to the right ferry, ferry was speedy.
