Maja HThe Ride itself was comfortable. The ferry was outdated but still perfectly fine. We then waited at the Pier to be picked up by a shuttle that brought us to the bus. The Bus was luxurious for Thai Standards, we had USB C outlets and reclining seats + we got a free meal and watermelon in surat thani. Would do it again.

Debora CI took these buses from and to Bangkok several times. Every time you travel up north towards Chiang Mai is great experience, down south and from south to Bangkok always bad.
Were missing blankets in some of the sits, we had to sit on the back and the seats weren’t leaning back so I had to sleep on the floor. No water or snack provided. No accessible toilets in the bus. Plus it was late more than 2 hours. In some buses the meal when we stop half way is included .. here we stop to buy something at 7 eleven. People that work in the bus are rude and they don’t even reply to you.

Maja IDrive was pleasant, bus was a lot more comfortable than we expected and we even arrived an hour early. It was a little unclear where we had to change from ferry to bus and then to another bus, but in the end it all went smoothly :)

Brian CI paid for the "VIP bus" , I would have hated to see the regular one. Boarding was super chaotic coming from the ferry, people sending us to a bunch of different places. We got on one bus to some place, where other various buses came to get us based on stickers. I'm still not even sure if I got on the correct bus seeing as I kept pointing to"VIP bus" on my ticket. The seats were not comfortable at all and with no space to even spread out. At least they reclined really far but I slept on my side with my legs in the aisle because they wouldn't fit comfortably in front of me, (think budget airline seats). Some people's seats were broken or unable to recline at all because of position in front of stairs or back of bus. The toilet was scary. The charging ports were varied on whether they were USB or mini USB so check your seat before sitting down if you have that option. The driver was nice and drove well, so I'll give it that and we arrived on time.

Leon KVIP is a scam. No WiFi, food coupon for one very small meal at a stop at midnight and many mosquitoes in the bus.

Maksym Z- NOT VIP, SCAM. Instead of the promised bus with 3 people in a row (VIP), everyone rode in an old bus with 4 people in a row, it's just a scam. Regular small seats. They didn't refund the money for the more expensive ticket.
- The air conditioning vents can't be closed, they were screwed on with screws. It's TERRIBLY cold.
- The drivers watched videos and talked on the phone the whole way, it's impossible to sleep without using drills.
- We arrived an hour early, I had to stand and wait for them to pick me up.
- The drivers were sick.
