Punctual, friendly and helpful driver who ended up dropping us all of at our individual hotels in Ao Nang instead of the central drop off location.

Horrible bus experience. The driving staff is super rude and the bus smelled like pee because the toilet door was brocke . The AC didn’t work to well and it was incredibly hot. Some water from the AC was dripping on the Girls sitting behind us.

We paid for hotel drop-off and did not get it.
The Seatran boat from Koh Phangan to Donsak Pier was great. The Phantip bus from Donsak to Krabi bus terminal was also great. We then had to take a pick-up truck, not a van, (with no possible direct communication with the driver) that was supposed to bring us to our hotel (as advertised and paid for) but the driver missed the turn to our hotel (which we showed to the hostess at the terminal and she validated). We thought that he was doing a detour to bring others before getting us to our destination. But he ended up stopping and asking us to hop off 45 minutes walk away, where he took a random passenger for some money instead of taking 10 minutes to get us back there. He was stubborn and irritated. We had to pay a taxi to get us to our hotel.

After we arrived with the ferry, we got on a van, after about an hour of driving we were changed to a bus that stopped at several stops and finally we were changed again to a van that took us to Ao Nang. 6 adults and children with their luggage move from vehicle to vehicle in the rain without first informing me that this is the route. We arrived Exhausted to the hotel from a difficult day.
A difficult and unpleasant experience at all.

It is a long journey and the itinerary seems a bit messy, but everything is very well organized. The ferry (3h) is very good and at the Donsak station they tell you where you have to go or if you have to wait. In our case we only had to stop for 1 hour to take the first bus (which was already good for us to have a drink in the bar or go to the bathroom). The company Phantip sent us a WhatsApp the night before to confirm the whole trip.

The journey in general has not been bad.
But it should be noted that you have to change vehicles 4 times during the trip: first a ferry, then a mini bus, a van and finally a pick-up to get to Ao Nang.
On top of that, every time I changed transport I had to say where i was going again because there are the same transport for many destinations and the truth is that it's quite tired all the changes and all the stuff

The ferry was great and very comfortable and left in time, although after that our travels were bad. We were waiting around for 40 minutes before our first bus took off, and then we got dropped off downtown transportation hub where we had to wait 3 hours for our next van ride. There was no communication about the expectation we had to wait around this long , and then when the van arrived, it smelt terribly of moved refrigerated foods which our feet rested on, bags everywhere, I felt so stuffy, hot and irritable. We should not have been packed in that van for the length of time this journey was, over 2 hours
