If I could give this trip zero stars, I would. I specifically booked this bus because the drop-off location was only a 2-minute walk from my hostel. Instead, I was dropped on the side of a highway at 4am, a 20-minute drive away. The driver was incredibly rude, laughing at me and insisting I get off. My ticket clearly listed the drop-off location, yet I was somehow expected to know there were actually two different stops and that I needed to manually write my preference on the ticket. This was never explained. To make matters worse, the driver’s so-called “confirmation” was saying a single word I didn’t understand, hardly clear communication. When I contacted the company, they refused to take any responsibility.

The transfer was not well communicated (The message I got said I would transfer in Hanoi but my trip was from Hoi An to Phong Nha) and my bag was returned to me from the second bus smelling of urine (I had to get it washed at the hostel in Phong Nha) but the first bus and drivers were wonderful and I had a great ride with them on the Queen Bee Cafe bus.

Great experience. The bus arrived a little late but there was a chap there who had our names on his phone which reassured us. It stopped every 2 hours as promised. We did a 7hr day trip, not sure I would sleep on one but it was a lovely way to travel through the day.

As far as buses go in Vietnam this was pretty good. 2 stops in a 7 hour journey, very comfy and spacious beds. Bus was an hour late however we were told about this the day before.

The bus was spacious and very comfortable. It was mostly on time, but make sure to be at the bus station at the prescribed time as it left a couple minutes early. However, the last few rows (about half the bus) reeked of urine from the bus toilet. Even with a mask on, I felt nauseous on and off during the trip.

Great experience, felt very looked after before and during the journey. All the staff were very helpful. The bus timings changed to an hours earlier the day before which was slightly inconvenient but fine. The bus stopped 45mins before our stop, we were told to get off and there was a private taxi to take us the rest of the journey. This wasn’t that surprising as we had read reviews citing similar experiences, but something to be maybe be mindful of if you’re a solo female traveler.

Once again I found the drivers and staff to be very unfriendly and dictatorial. . The driver also hooted that every single thing that he passed which does not help people to sleep. While I understand that this is one of the mechanisms of creating safety on the road, I noticed that it had simply become habitual and that by hooting he was not actually creating any awareness or safety but simply doing it out of habit. The waters were warm and we’re not put inside the fridge and the fridge was used for the Driver’s personal items. The bus itself was great, was on time, was clean, but the extractor fan was extremely loud and ran for an unnecessarily long period of time before it” automatically” switched off
