409 / 5 000 I approached the bus driver politely and respectfully to ask him if we were arrived, and he started yelling at me for no reason "get out, take a taxi !" . The bus was supposed to stop at Hanoi airport, but it stopped before, and I had to take and pay for a taxi. I reported this on WhatsApp, and even the person from the bus company laughed at me on WhatsApp !!!. It's truly deplorable behavior from this company.

Our airport drop off led us to being dropped off on the side of the road in Hanoi, still 15min from the airport, and in very little english told we need to book a taxi. We booked a grab and was fine, but it was an extra cost and kind of jarring. Otherwise we got from Ha Giang to Hanoi safely, the most important part.

Caught a sleeper bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang and back. Both buses were clean and not crowded had 1 stop about 2-3 hours into the journey where were able to get food and drinks. Both buses arrived approximately 30-60 mins late.

The bus was 40 minutes late, which made us a bit nervous because we had to catch a flight in the middle of the night and wanted to get some sleep before that. The planned arrival was 3:15 AM, but we were woken up at 2:30 AM – and not gently at all. One of the staff rushed us like crazy, even though the bus was still moving. We had no idea what was going on. We quickly packed our things in a panic, but then we were still driving for another 5 minutes before we actually got to the airport, so we really didn’t understand what the rush was about. In all that chaos, we unfortunately left two items on the bus. Totally our fault, but I honestly think it wouldn’t have happened without all the unnecessary stress. So yeah – the bus arrived way earlier than it was supposed to. That might be a good thing in some cases, but for us, it wasn’t, because we would’ve liked more sleep, and sleeping at the airport wasn’t really an option. That’s why you book a sleeper bus in the first place. But since the driver and staff seemed eager to end their shift early and made up so much time, the driver was also driving super fast and honking constantly. Not ideal when you’re trying to sleep – the horn is really loud inside the bus too. Other than that, it was actually quite comfortable and could’ve been a nice experience.
