Honestly, given the price, I wasn't expecting much, but the bus is actually pretty comfortable. It's a great experience; I'd just recommend arriving 30 minutes early, both on the way there and on the way back.

It was just a fan cooled carriage for an hour. It wasn’t overcrowded. You had to queue up early at the station which is 15 minute walk from Ban Sue metro

Overall a good experience and appreciated the flexible departure times. Note that the final destination will be the van terminal in Ayutthaya and there are lots of tuk tuk drivers and tour bus companies waiting for you, I would recommend you have a clear plan upon arrival otherwise you get sucked in to dealing with these guys. Doesn’t take away from the service though
