It was an experience worth trying. I found the seat to be on the small side so it was rather uncomfortable since the train was quite full. Ride was about 3 hours and was very reasonable price.

On 12go the trip was announced to last 1h40, but on the board in the train station it is written 2h. The train departure from Kampot was 50mn late. Then about half way it had to stop and we were transferred onto bus which was very slow on a bumpy path. On arrival was were 2h late and almost missed our connection at the pier (where the bus driver said he would drop us to gain time, but he didn't, and we had to take expensive tuktuk in a hurry...)
