The night ferry was good enough. The bus from Surat Thani to Phuket was a bit old school, making weird noises, and the driver was nuts. But got us to the destination.

The ferry was great, but the bus afterwards was uncomfortable. Plus, the driver was going really fast. We also had a tire issue with our bus. We arrived about 30 minutes later.

Everything was on time, transfer went smoothly. When we arrived in Phuket there was transfer ready for a good rate te bring us to the hotel. Boat was good, bus was not that comfortable, but ride was about 5 hours and we stopped once.
