Do not take this speedboat to Koh Tao, I would recommend a slower boat instead. The waves were harsh and made the experience borderline unbearable. There were people crying due to panic attacks and some were even vomiting. It was also physically painful as the high speed of the boat crashing against the big waves caused everyone to rock up and down aggressively. There should’ve been a warning that this boat will be quite rough compared to the slower ferries.

Lompraya is by far the best ferry service in the region. The catamaran was designed for comfort and scenic ride. All equipment are clean and well maintained. The luggage transport was done with utmost care and efficiency by friendly crew. I was impressed from the moment I arrived at the port Ticketing staff were so accommodating and friendly who were happy to help with boarding. The catamarans operated like super yachts so smooth on the water. What fun I had on my travel. Thank you Lompraya for a great experience.
