The pick up coordinates wasn’t very accurate: the coordinates on the ticket indicated the pick up point at drive through, but the actual pick up point from Koh Samui airport was a parking lot a little up the hill.

Very rough conditions. Didn’t realize we’d be getting on a speed boat, thought we booked the bigger boat. I threw up the entire trip.

I had seen on TikTok before that it’s a ROUGH journey so I was prepared. Take motion sickness tablets before going. That aside (as it can’t be helped), we got to our destination about an hour late, also there’s no need to be at the pier an hour early like they say. Half hour/20 mins would be enough. Overall It was fine

We rented the bigger catamaran (koh samui-Koh tao) , we paid for it, but the day of the trip they took us on the smaller fast boat which was way to shaky, we wrote to customer service to het an explanation before the return trip, but no answer, we will see for the return trip, it will be another one star if the same problem persists, ps(we were not the only ones, most of the people paid for the bigger catamaran since it’s 2h45 trip)

The staff at Bangrak pier do a great job herding cats! Luggage storage on boat makes for a hectic pick up upon exit but as long as you aren’t in a hurry it works. I learned a valuable lesson about sitting outside on a ferry in Thailand - keep a rain jacket handy!! Storm blew up out of nowhere and I got soaked but all part of the Thailand experience.

The trip was fine ‘& on time. However boat trip was not direct. It’s stoped in Koh Panang. This was not obvious at the time of booking but didn’t cause us a major issue. Otherwise trip was fine. Crossing was rough but this was not anybody’s fault.

The pictures show the big boat there is no description of the trip at all . We ended up on a small speedboat . It should be pictured when booking and a breakdown of the times and service. We had to catch two boats and wait at another pier of 60 mins in-between.
