Pier too far from Airport. Boat too crowded. I was charged for covid insurance I never asked for. While profit making is the essence of business , service is not to be ignored.

Getting the van from the airport was easy and well organized, with friendly staff to help. At the pier it was less organized, although I have taken ferries in Thailand several times and it works. I am giving a lower score because the ferry left 45 minutes late, not due to weather but just not loading people on the ferry took forever.

The company desk was easy to find which was just outside the Natha Cafe at the Meeting Point area of the airport. Then a van took me to Bangrak Pier where I had to report to the office for check in half an hour before departure, then weight the luggage and wait to board. The boat assigned was a speedboat, it can be a catamaran which depended on the schedule. Big luggage needed to be left at the front of the boat since the seats were very tight. Once at Thong Sala Pier, walked around 15 minutes to the car park where all the coaches from all companies were there, I reported to the company staff and she in fact was the driver and drove me to the final destination. The whole process was well coordinated, just need to be patient to find the right place to go to.
