The company desk was easy to find which was just outside the Natha Cafe at the Meeting Point area of the airport. Then a van took me to Bangrak Pier where I had to report to the office for check in half an hour before departure, then weight the luggage and wait to board. The boat assigned was a speedboat, it can be a catamaran which depended on the schedule. Big luggage needed to be left at the front of the boat since the seats were very tight. Once at Thong Sala Pier, walked around 15 minutes to the car park where all the coaches from all companies were there, I reported to the company staff and she in fact was the driver and drove me to the final destination. The whole process was well coordinated, just need to be patient to find the right place to go to.

Experience was ok, but when we booked this the picture and the description was Lomprayahs catamaran, which is a large boat. On the pdf tickets it also said Lomprayah express, not speedboat. We diddl not want a speedboat which is why we booked this. When we arrived at the pier we were informed that this was a speedboat. The journey was ok, but we were not prepared for this and were on edge the entire 30 minutes. The luggage was all just piled on top of each other at the front of the boat with nothing to hold it down. If the sea was any way rough the luggage would have fallen off.

Great speed boat ride, lovely cool cafe to wait for departure. Very pretty spot on the beach. Departure delayed 20 mins but time went quickly and very efficient boarding and disembarking.

With boarding there was help of the staff with suitcase. On arrival we had to it ourselves. Strange because gate at the pier of Thong Salan is quit narrow and a bit chaotic.
