The ferry left late. It says 3hr journey. It was over 5hrs. The chairs were cramped. The toilet was absolutely disgusting. The aircon half worked.

Our original ferry cancelled at short notice due to weather, but Atienza's ferry was big enough to ride it out. It's an ex Japanese ferry with aircraft style seats (but much better leg room). It rolled around of course, but felt robust and safe. Was late departing and took 5 hours, but it got us there. We had seasick tablets and they are probably a good idea if the weather isn't smooth.

Chaotic checking in - no set queue for pre booked tickets or signs for where to go. No seats in the holding area although there are fans. Departed 20 mins late. The crew were excellent handing out sick bags as the start of the journey was a bit choppy, one person was so horrendously sick throughout the journey, I’d recommend travelling sickness tables if you suffer from seasickness - made it unpleasant for everyone around them! Crew were great; but be prepared for a rough journey and it will take longer than it says!

Poor facility; many seats are not properly bolted to the vessel; seat covers are broken; no decent restaurant for an 3-4 hour trip; the passengers are kept in line under the sun; what if it rains?

the on site ferry ticketing and waiting area experience was chaotic and difficult to navigate and comprehend as a tourist. The process was not well explained or intuitive and required faith and hope that everything was correct and proper.
