Had the very last cabin in the back of the bus. At this spot you feel vibrations of the road and of the motor super strong. Plus the cabin was a lot smaller than the last bus we had taken. I was only able to get around 1-2 hours of sleep eventhough I had earplugs. A/C was so strong that even when you closed the vents cold air was still coming through. Not the best when you're having a cold. The bus arrived 1 hour earlier than expected which normally is a good thing. Driving was even harder accordingly and it left us stranded in Hanoi until like 6am when some shops opened.

The bus was on time and the compagnie even offered to pick us up at our hotel which was time+energy saving. The driver and other employees were very polite and we didn’t encounter any trouble on the way. I recommend!

The trip was so windy and bumpy, a sleeper bus is not really worth it. When we did get to Hanoi, we were so rushed in getting off the sleeper bus, we forgot things on the bus. And after getting off the sleeper bus, there was a mini bus into downtown that didn’t have a destination. They needed us to provide a location which we didn’t know at 4:30am. So we just got off the bus when they stopped for someone else.

Around 3am (2h before scheduled arrival) the bus stopped and an announcement in Vietnamese was made. Since we had not arrived yet, i went back to sleeping. A few minutes later we were woken up abruptly and shouted at by a bus driver in Vietnamese, signaling that we had to get off the bus. But we hadn't even arrived at the destination. This was very unprofessional and made us feel really bad. Eventually someone else came and told us the journey would continue in a limousine.
