Chiang Mai to Bangkok Destination Reviews

ZW
Pros: comfy seats that recline. Affordable way to travel with big luggage. Snacks and refreshments handed out. They give you a blanket. The staff were kind and helpful. Cons: lights on and off a few times. Quite a bumpy ride. They let passengers make phone calls which was terrible on a night bus. No announcements in English. I would use again.

Some of the seats can not be adjusted. The snacks are ok and the blanket is supported but the AC is super cold. Suggest u to take a jacket or hoodie. The arrival time is surprisingly on time.

I booked a trip from Chiang Mai to Surat Thani, two 10 hour bus rides through 12go with 1.5 hours in between. They booked two busses that do not meet and leave at the same bus station and our first bus was over an hour late, meaning we had to scramble to take a taxi to a random hotel (where the second bus departed from) and call the bus operator and wait almost 20 minutes for us. Everyone at the bus station and the bus drivers were very kind but it was stressful.
