I booked a 15:05 train from Vientiane to Luang Prabang through 12Go, which was advertised at the time of purchase. However, this service was cancelled at short notice. My flight landed in Vientiane around 12:00, leaving me no other feasible alternative to reach Luang Prabang on the same day. As a result, I was left stranded in Vientiane overnight and forced to travel the following day, causing me to lose a full day in Luang Prabang that had already been planned and paid for. I am very disappointed with the lack of reliability and communication, as well as the inconvenience and costs this situation caused. Travellers rely on accurate schedules, and in this case the cancellation completely disrupted my itinerary.
