Andrea BThe agency where we buy the transfer (minivan) sell our reservation to another that put us in a big bus, with broken chair and we have waited more than 1h to fill the bus to start our journey to Vientiane. Then they made a stop to the airport (they have denied the pick up to the airport in our previous reservation and we had to pay a taxi for the city). Keiko KI booked a train from Luang Prabang, Laos, to Vang Vieng, Laos more than 2 weeks ago before the departure date.
But I did not receive any information from 12Go until I sent an email to them two days before departure.
What I received right before the departure (at 21:52 on 15-Nov) was as follows;
"According to the information from Laos Railway by Family Service, there are not enough seats left on the trip from Luang Prabang Railway Station to Vang Vieng Railway Station on 16-Nov-25 12:50:00 to accommodate your booking xxxxxxxx.
Therefore, we issued a full refund for booking xxxxxxxx"
Since I received the email at 21:52 on 15-Nov and travelled as a group of 4 people, we had to reschedule our travel to accommodate this change at midnight...
I had also booked a van from Vang Vien to Vientiane on Nov 17, but we couldn't take it as we booked a train from Luang Prabang to Vientiane on Nov 17 directly.
To our regret, the fee for the Van was non-refundable although the cancellation was not due to our fault.

Nicole TPicked us up at hotel early, but then drove around in a big circle for an hour ending back where we started. Basically sat in the van for an hour for no reason. Otherwise, a very smooth ride, nice van, and still arrived on time. No breaks on the way though, so go to the bathroom before.

Wagner Poor communication. Whatever you ask they have the same answer: "yes". We updated our pickup location with 12Go and also with the company through the WhatsApp, but in the pickup day they still didn't have the correct adress.

Andrew Excellent service, would highly recommend. I was in contact via WhatsApp and every question was answered. The drive was much quicker than we thought and so much cheaper than a private transfer despite being just as quick and comfortable.

Clara FI got picked up 15mins before the time scheduled, the vehicle was very confortable but i got dropped off in the middle of the street and got no help from the driver to get a tuk-tuk to my final destination.

Irene HThe van arrived one hour late without notice. We wrote them and called them but they never replied. Personel in the hostel we were staying said this company is usually late. We arrived late at Vientiane and they drop us off in a different location than the one indicated. The ticket said the trasnfer between Van Vieng and Vientiane was "van + bus", but at the end it was only a van and it was super full and unconfortable.

Malcolm Dthe ticket picked up station was for a diiferent time to the booking. I had a 3 hour wait at the station as I was already there and had checked out of my hotel.
Should have been notified by email of the change as my mobile number does not work in Laos.
