The van displayed on site is a little bit different , a lot different . It was a scrap van , imagine 2hrs with smell of diesel exhaust .

We received the tickets immediately after placing the order (the booking was made 4 days before departure). There were no issues during the journey, and the train was very spacious. However, we were not given any choice of seats, which meant that the two of us were not seated together, but 5 rows apart. There were empty seats available, though.

I believe you should review the process for items such as pocket travel knife. Instead of throwing our traveling expensive instruments you could put it in a sealed envelope that we get back once we get out … thinking that my very expensive Swiss knife and my daughter Swiss knife have been taken by your staff is way too rigid. A parallel option should be offered to get it back after the journey.

The train itself was ok but 12Go didn’t actually send me my ticket, just confirmation. Fortunately they allowed me to collect it in person.

The departure time on the ticket was 8 am, and I was supposed to be waiting at least 30 minutes before that. In the end, they picked me up almost at 9 with a tuk-tuk. Then we went to a place where they keep their buses, and we waited there until 10 am (so already 2 hours after the departure time stated on the ticket). In the end, they took so many people that they had to add some extra “chairs” to the van, and those poor people were sitting in very bad conditions. I felt sorry for them. And of course, we arrived in Vientiane later than the time stated on the ticket.

The journey itself went very well. A tuk-tuk picked us up at our hotel and then brought us to the van. The driver was polite and professional, but I don't understand why we were asked to provide our hotel address only to be left stranded in the middle of the city in 30°C heat with our suitcases. Unfortunately, with all the other passengers in the van, we each had to walk to our own hotels, which wasn't what we had agreed upon. I'm disappointed because the rest of the trip went smoothly. Please address this issue.
