Poor organisation Bus planned at 8am but the company contacted me the day before to give me the meeting point which was wrong and ended in missing my shuttle. On the way back, no clear sign and no clear indication by the company via WhatsApp that just said “please ask the staff”. I tried to call and had no answer resulting in stress for everyone.

The departure was one hour later than previous be cause the driver had to pick up all the passengers. Despite of that there was not enough space for our lugages.

The departure time on online ticket said 9am ( which is ok), but arrival time stated to be around 12 did not match reality at all. It took us 4h and 20min to reach Nong khiaw! Roads a really in poor condition. So knowing this fact it’s not logical to provide info that it only takes around 3h to get there. This misleading information is not ok.

we were 12 people, including the driver, crammed together, sweating and sticky on vinyl seats. The vehicle had no air conditioning (just a fan) and the road was in terrible condition.

The van gets you from point A to B, but not particularly comfortably. Good for the price, but be warned that the vans are very cramped and oversold. Trip also took around 4.5 hours (which is out of everyone’s control), but something to note for scheduling.

The bus itself was fine, but don’t book the ticket with 12go. You will still have to go to the ticket counter and exchange the voucher for a real ticket. But the real tickets are a fraction of the price payed online, not worth to buy it beforehand. Also the times listed on 12go are not the real times, there isn’t really a strict timetable.
