In spite of the delay due to weather conditions, all in all we enjoyed a pleasant trip, by and large with the amenities we might expect. I'm a foreigner living in the Philippines for the past decade (Visayan speaker) with a background in railways, passenger and freight transportation, transport infrastructure development and transport policy, and tourism, with an extensive travel history. Also with regards to current interactions between my professional network and SE Asian administrations, I would be interested in an exchange with your esteemed Company, with two possible goals: 1. I may give more detailed feedback and proposals, from a personal and professional point of view based mainly on this my last trip and also on earlier experience with you and other operators. 2. Our main research question is, how to establish trimodal logistics chains within our islands, how to integrate into our transport system economically viable container trains on our future and existing rail networks, as a contribution towards a carbon-neutral energy-efficient economy. For that second topic, you might put me on to relevant resource persons internally and externally of 2GO for an exchange of information and professional viewpoints on intermodal freight flows and related policies.
