Lucia AThis is just the local bus (minivan) from Luang Namtha to Nong Khiaw. The operator wasn’t there in the morning at the leaving point. We got the tuk tuk to the bus station and the driver organised our tickets. This was organised over the phone with the operator and we had to insist that the tuk tuk was already paid for. The total price is 50% more than the price offered to us by our accomodation in Luang Namtha. The bus ticket was bought at the station - no need to prebook. The minivan then left 2 hours late because not enough people were on board at 9am. Arrived in Luang Namtha at 7pm. No toilet or food breaks until 45 minutes away from Nong Khiaw (they also stopped here for an hour??). Don’t bother booking this online, go through your accommodation.
