Poor organisation and waste of time. The ticket said to be at the bus stop 30 mins before. No one from the company showed up until 30 mins after the departure time. Tried to call the number on the ticket but it just rang and rang and the office was completely closed. Standing on stinking Khao San road at 7am for over an hour is not a great start to any journey. In the end we departed almost 1.5 hours late and arrived at Samet just before 2pm. From other reviews it seems like this is 'normal', not a one-off. The drive was fine. I would try to find alternatives if I took this journey again - not recommended.

The trip was fine overall, but there were a few annoyances: we first got onto a bus from Kao San Soonsiri that took us literally 5 minutes away before stopping. We were then told to get off and hop onto another bus. I think the reason was that the first one was only half full and they wanted to have just one be packed instead. From there we drove several hours and about 45 minutes before reaching Rayong's pier, we were again told to get off the bus and hopped into a mini-van. We then reached the pier and took a ferry to Koh Samet. Fine overall but the 3 bus switches were annoying.

Amazing service! It was on time, the staff and driver were helpful and pleasant also. The van itself was very comfortable with aircon and plenty of space. A bottle of water and a snack was provided. I would highly recommend

The driver first let us have a 15 minutes stop wich was nice. Then drove 2 minutes just to stop for lunch while we were left waiting in the mini van for 15 minutes while he ate.
