The ferry was in very poor condition. We departed more than half an hour late. No one informed us whether we would stop first at Ao Nang or Railay.
It turned out that (without any prior notice) we had to transfer to a longtail boat.
They tried to drop us off on Railay West, even though our booking was for the East Pier, specifically because it has a floating dock. We told the boat staff that our ticket was for the East Pier, and at first they didn’t want to take us there—until we realized that everyone on the boat wanted to go to the same place, and they had no choice but to take us
We were supposed to arrive at 3:15 PM and ended up arriving at 5:00 PM.
Overall: very poor communication, poorly maintained boats, and inattentive staff. I would have preferred a speedboat from any other provider.

Steve CNot enough life jackets put out / across all seats and life ring was tied to the back of a chair in such a way that you would not be able to remove it easily in an emergency. Journey itself very good and on time but safety could be improved.

Dmitry MThe boat didn’t reach the final destination and dropped us in nearby town. From there we had to go by car to another pier and then again by boat. Very poor experience.

Ani SIt was organized quite well. We departed about 20 minutes late, but I think that's ok for Thailand. The speedboat was extremely BUMPY! It was not an easy 1.5 hours. Other than that it was fine.
