Deiver picked me up on time at my hotel in a private vehicle and took me to the Talat Sao bus station. He helped with my small luggage and obtained my bus ticket for me. Bus left on time, but if you have any issues crossing into Thailand, the bus will leave you. I was stranded at the border. As I was exiting the immigration checkpoint, I saw the bus leaving. They will only wait 15 minutes for you to pass through immigration. Luckily, I'm a resident in Thailand and was able to get a GRAB car to the Nong Khai Bus Terminal for 75 baht.

The whole trip went well. The pickup from the hotel was on time and the transfer to the big bus at the bus station went smoothly. Transfers through both borders was excellent and we were dropped safely at the bus station in Nong Khai. A lot of things needed to go smoothly and they did.
