We booked the bus from Halong Bay to Hanoi. The voucher stated that we had to meet the bus at the meeting point in the International Harbour in Halong Bay and that we would be dropped off in the Old Quarter in Hanoi. Therefore we expected to have to get a cab for the short ride at either end to the meeting points. On the morning our booking, the driver rang to ask where we wanted picking up and we were subsequently collected from our hotel and dropped off at our hotel at the other end. This was excellent service and a pleasant surprise, especially considering the very low cost.

Not the best of transport- turned up very early then proceeded to drive to Hanoi like a lunatic with a small child in the front of the minibus. Stopping at the side of the road a couple of times for a cigarette, was supposed to be dropped off at the airport only to be turfed out with no explanation in the middle of the old quarter in hanoi

Everything was fine, WhatsApp team was great, but then before Hoian driver asked us to leave the bus, it was cold and rainy.. we couldn’t understand why!? Then one taxi driver was with bad attitude and asked us where we need to go, I was telling him my reference number, but he was just yelling.. and didn’t understand anything.. unpleasant. But then came lady from agency, (agency was next to the corner, maybe next time it’s possible to save passengers nerves from situations like this and explain in WhatsApp that we are changing a car?) she saved all situation.
