Bus was on time which was good. Staff were rude and stops were at horrible places. But the worst part was they stopped 10km from the arrival point on a random street and told me to get off. So I was just left with my bag miles from where I paid to arrive. I think that is terrible. No communication why. Just get off.

The trip itself was good but: in the Bus the toilette paper was unuseful. The worst was that we arrive at 5:00 AM, so 2 hours before the expected time which was 7am, It's a big difference. And the Toilette in your Hanoi office was really bad, dirty and without papes, really bad. I'm giving 3 stars average because the trip was correct.

Bus was 1.5 hours late - it seems that it’s a 10:30pm bus not 9pm. I don’t understand why it’s advertised as 9pm if the standard time for it to come to phong nhà is 10:30pm. Frustrating waiting around. Thiên Phu hostel wouldn’t even let us use their bathroom whilst we waited there for the pick up .

Bus was very spacious and comfy but it arrived late and took many detours on the way meaning we arrived 1.5 hours late to the destination.

Comfortable bus. However, bus was an hour late arriving, made numerous stops on the way and went off route a number of times. Arrived 2 hours later to Hanoi than supposed to.

Beds were very tiny. Not ideal for larger people. Operator of Bus from Phong Nha to Hanoi refused to stop for any bathroom breaks meanwhile they would hop off the bus and go to the bathroom themselves. We probably got to Hanoi an hour early due to lack of bathroom breaks. Additionally, drop off location was not the same that was listed when we booked. When we got picked up from Central Backpackers hostel we still had to drive 40min in a car to meet the bus, in which the driver was driving wreckless and fast.

There weren’t enough seats for everyone on the bus — about three people (who weren’t even customers) were sleeping on the floor. Going to the bathroom was chaotic, we almost stepped on people’s heads. And it’s one thing to have someone snoring inside their own cabin; it’s a completely different thing to have someone literally snoring right next to me, lying on the floor beside the curtain that closes my cabin. I paid for the VIP service to get at least a decent night’s sleep, and that wasn’t possible. Terrible! On top of that, the driver was driving like crazy.

Cabins were clean and fairly comfortable although they don’t lie completely flat. We got to our destination three hours early which usually would be great but we ended up in Hanoi at 4am instead of 7am.
