We had a lovely air conditioned van.
Fast and easy trip from Pakse to Thakhet.
The owner of the hostel gave us free tea while we waited and snacks for the journey too.
Good price too.
I would highly recommend.

Cade CThey got me there safely but it was not a comfortable experience. I understand the need to maximize the space available in the vehicle, but at a certain point it becomes dangerous. Especially with the road and traffic conditions.

Ida Be careful when booking if you’re booking one of the local busses or a VIP bus. We have booked a local bus that took 12 hours (including two breakdowns of the bus), smelled strange, was rather old and uncomfortable (no proper seats but bunk beds) and did not go faster than 60 km/h. Bring some time and patience when booking a local bus and lower your expectations.
