the boot flew open as we were driving, my boyfriend had to hold it close until the guy decided to pull over (about 10 minutes). then gave my boyfriend a bit of string to tie the boot down, which didn’t work, so my boyfriend ended up having to tie his seatbelt around the boot handle to keep it shut… driver was speeding, overtaking vehicles round corners, very erratic driving…

Van was on time and got us to our destination on time, that’s the main thing. Old van which broke down for 10 or 15minutes early in our journey. Driver was erratic and doing some of the craziest driving I’ve experienced in South East Asia. I appreciate they drive differently here, and also that the driver knows the road well, however we were passing all of the other mini vans which also have drivers which know the road. We were passing them on blind corners, down hills, in some of the wettest driving conditions I have seen. So dangerous. It was an experience, that’s for sure

Driver was good. The drive was good but the air-conditioning in the van was t so good. That aside, Ive read so many reviews about how bad this trip can be. Honestly, all things considered, the road isn't that bad.

I’ve got a randomly allocated seat and it happened to be the one in the back where half of your legroom is blocked due to the wheel. Definitely not what I paid for as everybody else had a seat with enough legroom but me! The driver was driving too fast, he was aggressively trying to overtake a truck and did a lot of unneccesary breaking which resulted in motion sickness for the person next to me. I’ve asked the driver if we can pull over for a minute but instead he handed a sick bag to the person and proceeded to drive as fast as before.

They charged us 200 baht extra for two suitcases even though they were smaller than other people's backpacks. They told us they don't do hotel pick up and they picked someone up from their hotel on the way. They dropped someone off as well. Because of this we didn't get to make a stop on the way for the toilet or a stretch.

Driver was 10mins early. Helped with our luggage. Offered us to connect to his car Bluetooth so we can play our own music. Very very safe driver. Pleasant presence. Highly recommended.
