It was too hot in there. Bathroom was unacceptable, worst I’ve ever been but the staff was nice and we get to be in the top of the boat.

We left 45 min too late, we made several stops on Gili, there was no AC in the boat, the boarding was rushed and it felt very disorganised.

The staff at padang bai were extremely helpful, and so many of them to point you in the right direction and help you know what to do and where to go. The boat was pleasant - comfortable seating and a smooth rice. My only complaint is that something seriously needs to be done about bangsal harbour. The boat worker lifted my bag off the boat and before it was even on the ground, a scammer from bangsal port took my bag and started walking up the pier. He told me be worked with the boat company and wouldn't give my back back, kept saying "the harbour is this way". Multiple men were hassling me and they took my bag into a building were he asked for 100k for carrying my bag. I did not ask him to carry my bag and didn't get a chance to carry it myself as he took it as soon as it got lifted off the boat. These men continued to follow me up the road for several minutes and I was very scared being a solo female traveller. I feel the boat workers could have helped me, or there should be a system in place where they don't allow these men to take the bags. I feel something could be done e.g. handing the bag straight to the guest waiting, or at least warning us about these people. Other than that, 100% recommend Wahana Virenda. Just be careful at Bangsal port and don't expect anyone to help you.

Getting boarding card in the port was easy. Boarding of course in Indonesian style. Let us say less structured. This is Indonesia! Nice cool airco (almost too cold). Employee in the boat was also kind. Good chairs. Little bit bumpy at sea, but what can you do. At least no seasickness. Got my trolley fast back. Overall very good. Oh yeah little late. Not 13.30 but more abt 14.10

Boat was total full and and not really room for your legs. It was very hot inside. Not sure if the AC was running but everybody felt so hot, so other passengers where walking around, try to get some fresh air. It said 12:45 boarding and 2:35 pm arrival. We arrived around 4:15, but boarding was 1:30.
