The boat was a little old and tired, nothing special but also nothing worth complaining about The problem was on arrival in Loh Lipe. The ferry anchored in the bay while several longtail boats took people ashore. For most people it wasn't such a problem to climb down onto the smaller boat, but for anyone with mobility issues, it was very difficult. We were asked to sit on the floor of the ferry and then swing our legs out before sliding down onto the smaller boat. My wife has had one knee replacement and significant arthritis in the other and has a lot of difficulty getting down onto the floor. It was quite a challenge and nobody had any ideas how to make it easier. For anyone with worse issues, I have no idea what might have happened because she just kept getting told that she would have to do it.
