Anderson GFirst you take a boat from Koh Samui to Donsak pier which is okay, then you are taken to a parking lot where you board a van and from the van you drive about 1 hour to a very poor restaurant, they basically have fruits, beverages and salty rice or pasta to eat. You may have time to walk to 7/11 but who knows, they don't give any information so you have to guess. After waiting from 1h to 2h which they don't know precisely how much you board a bus that comes half full and drives about 6 hours to the first stop where is another very poor restaurant that they only have rice, snacks and some beverages and after that you are taken to Bangkok.

Laura Loved the journey. Everything went smoothly, comfortable rides on each transport. Got snacks, drinks and a meal on the last but. Emma the assistant on the bus was very plesent and friendly. Travelled with my 8 year old and she loved it too shuch speaks volumes.
The only thing stopping this being a 5 star is the aircon blasting through out the whole night trip. It's like it's on full with no way to stop it. If it could be turned.down.ig would make the journey perfect.

Wattana DComfortable seat, friendly assistance in person and on Whatsapp, quiet environment, smooth and safe travel without delays. There is wifi which works quite well on the bus and a USB port next to each seat. Ferry ticket and dinner are included. Overall, much better than other bus companies in Khaosan.

Tomoko MI had a return trip with TravelBus Asia between Bangkok and Koh Samui, and I strongly would like to recommend TravelBus Asia to everyone. Members of staff at their Khaosan Office as well as bus attendants were very professional and friendly. They spoke very good English, and all announcements were made in English, which I have found traveller-friendly. Before departure, they gave us all detailed information on the bus journey, including when, where and how long we were going to stop for a short break for toilet.
Check-in usually starts 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time, when you depart from their Bangkok Khaosan Office. Complementary tea and coffee are available there. Also, a quick evening meal is included. (If you arrive the office earlier, you can leave your luggage there and walk around Khaosan Road if you want.) When I returned to Bangkok from Koh Samui, our coach arrived at around 4:30am. They kindly allowed me to use their office to wait until the first public transports start in the morning. Again, hot tea and coffee were available there even very early in the morning, and I managed to feel refreshed when I used their washroom to wash my face and brush my teeth after a long night-bus journey.
It was a very comfortable round trip, because the coach had a toilet and tea/coffee making facility available on board. Also, a USB port is equipped, so that you are able to charge your SmartPhone during the bus journey. Onboard WiFi worked perfectly, too.

Steffen KThe pick up came 45 minutes later than confirmed. We still made it on time though. Bit the minivan was so full that the luggage hardly fit in and one of the passengers wasn’t able to get off her seat anymore since the suitcases were stacked around her. The driver was driving like a maniac (but not really unusual in Thailand).
Overall it was okay, we got there on time but don’t expect any comfort. But the rate was really cheap, so we can really complain 🤗.
