The bus did not go direct to the train station. It should arrive at 16:00 at the train station but it arrived at Surat Thani center and needed another 45 minutes bus to the train station. So stuck 2 times unnecessarily in traffic jam.

There was some confusion when I arrived at the Donsak ferry terminal. Phantip weren't really expecting me - I was the only person booked to travel to the train station. After a few panicked glances they arranged a work around and I arrived at the train station 30 minutes later than scheduled. It all worked, and the staff were excellent, but not quite as smooth as it could have been,

The locals took all the seats in the aircon room to lay down and sleep, another local got angry at them but there was no staff to help her. This meant my kids had to be in the heat, not ideal

I have been given a voucher for the meal, but where this was supposed to be used? In the ferry? On the bus? In-between? Guys, as an advice, you only need to speak at least a basic english, nothing else. Everyone says that is difficult to communicate and informations aren't clear.
