Liam BThe trip took 7.5 hours instead of the 5 hours stated in the booking. Additionally, I was only informed on the morning of departure that I would be picked up from my accommodation instead of the pier. Since the booking confirmation specified the pier as the starting point, I had already paid for a taxi to get there. This was a complete waste of money due to the late communication.

Our first ride went well. On time and the tour company called to inform us when they would get picked up.
We were then dropped off in Krabi and told our transfer to Khao Sok would arrive in 40 mins. It did not. We were told to wait another 30 mins. Still didnt show. Another hour and a half went by, and the bus to Khao Sok showed up, but was full. So we went another hour for a new van that also had a bunch of pick-ups to make. Instead of arriving at our destination at 6pm as advertised, we arrived at 10pm.
Delays can happen, we understand. But the problem here is the lack of transparency and communication with customers when things arent going as planned. We were 6 people who were left stranded in the heat for 4 hours without an explanation.

Elis ATransfer from Koh Lanta to Khao Sok. The original pick-up from our hotel was around one hour late, which was reasonable as the van has to pick-up every guest on their respective hotel. It is possible to call if you want to confirm the arrival because otherwise there was not much communication before the driver came. Our van had multiple okay seats and two bad seats (double seat) which could be a bit tight if you are large or need to share with a stranger. Van change in Krabi and then a 20 minute stop before the last drive to Khao Sok. Drop off at the Van station but it is possible to buy hotel drop off for extra (around 100 bhat pp for a 15 min drive). If you want to take Grab: the local taxi drivers dislike the external Grab drivers so it is kinda unsafe for them.

Thea MAcceptable delay and wait time in Krabi. Arrived almost on time in the end! A bit weird that the driver offered to drive us to our hotels for some extra baht which did not seem to match the local prices.
