Koh Lanta to Ao Nang Destination Reviews

R
The ride to Krabi Town from Koh Lipe went smoothly, and the driver was very nice. Communication via WhatsApp was also excellent. However changing Buses in Krabi Town for Ao Nang was a bit confusing, but the man on site sorted everything out quickly so that we were taken to our hotel in Ao Nang in a private car. I would book with Jijetour Travel again.

Kong was our driver, he was very friendly and even showed us how we could adjust the air conditioning in the back of the mini bus. He took care when driving and was extremely punctual with pick up and drop off times. Would highly recommend!

Van picked me up in time and dropped me off with a slight delay, what was totally ok for me. The driver seemed to be unprepared regarding the hotels of the passengers and made an unannounced toilet break without offering the same for the passengers. So finally this ride was ok but not perfect.

Was all going fine until we arrived in Krabi town and got told to get out the car with no explanation, a guy from the company got very aggressive because my friend couldn’t show her ticket since her phone was out of battery and demanded that she payed more. I managed to give her a battery pack and proved that she has paid. Then he disappeared for 5 minutes leaving us on the street and told both of us to get in the taxi, he drove us to Ao Nang recklessly and it was very obvious he had taken some type of drug by the way he moved his chin and his hands. We were both terrified.

Just after booking the 12 Support wrote us that we have to pay additonal 600 THB to the Bus driver for pick up at our Hotel near Old Town Koh Lanta and drop off at our Hotel near Ao Nang. There was no information about this extra costs before and within the booking and there was no possibility to cancel the transfer after the message about these intransparent extra costs. The transfers should be included when they write pick up is "Koh Lanta Hoteltransfer" and arrival point "Ao Nang Transfer" with no further informations. At the end we paid 400 THB extra after some discussions. The transfer itself was really good and comfortable (we were the only two passengers on board). The driver was 30 minutes before pick up time at our Hotel and really friendly. Would gave them 5* when we didn't had the issues with the non-transparent extra costs.

Booked a transfer from Lanta to Ao Nang. Had to change the bus 3x times. Experience was okay, total delay of 30 minutes was no problem. But the small buses were packed with people and luggage up to the roof, a little bit scary.
